It’s been nearly five months since Alex Scesny was named a “person of interest” in the 1996 murder of Theresa Stone of Fitchburg. No more. After three full days of deliberation, the jury in the Alex Scesny case has still not reached a verdict. They’ll be coming back Monday.

After two full days of deliberating, the jury in the Scesny case will be entering day three tomorrow. At just before 4 p.m., the court came back into session to address two questions asked by the jury. The first was a request for a flip chart to use in their deliberations and the second question was what would happen if they couldn’t come to an agreement today since one of the juror’s was scheduled to take a 10 a.m. flight the next morning.
